CN Police Want to Raise Awareness About Safe Behaviour Near Railway Property
CN Police officers are spreading a rail safety message in Sioux Lookout. Last year in North America, there were over 3,400 collisions with trains, resulting in over 2,200 serious injuries or fatalities. BURNING PERMITS FOR RESIDENTS OF SIOUX LOOKOUT, HUDSON, AND ALCONA
All residents burning brush and grass between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022 are required to purchase an annual “Open Air Burning Permit” for $10.00.
All residents who have an incinerator must purchase an “Annual Incinerator Permit” for $10.00. This permit is valid for one year beginning April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
Any resident who does not have a Permit for burning will be subject to a fine as set out in By-Law...
