Sioux Lookout, ON – With this morning’s announcement of strike action at Canada Post, the Municipality of Sioux Lookout reminds residents that utility and property tax billing will continue on their regular schedules.

Please be advised that the Hidden Lake Landfill will be closed from Monday, November 18^th through Friday, November 22^nd.

This closure is required for the removal of the weigh bridge and decking to replace the load sensors and scale indicator, as well as the calibration and certification of new components, to ensure they are legal for trade. It was originally scheduled for the last week of October, but has been rescheduled due to shipping delays.
