Sioux Lookout, ON – Motorists in Sioux Lookout should plan for short delays on Thursday as the section of Wellington Street affected by floods in 2022 is repaved.

“The detour will be the same as it was last year,” explained Public Works Operations Manager, Mat Lelonde. “Traffic will be diverted between 4th Avenue South and 5th Avenue South via York Street until the repairs are completed.”

Sioux Lookout, ON – The Municipality of Sioux Lookout has entered into an agreement with FoodCycle Science to establish a pilot program to increase home composting and divert tons of food waste from the Hidden Lake Landfill.
