Sioux Lookout, ON – The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is celebrating the grand re-opening Farlinger Park/Town Beach tomorrow!

“A lot of work has taken place at Farlinger Park over the last few years,” said Mayor Doug Lawrance. “The new Farlinger Park truly is a place the whole community can enjoy and also invites new recreational opportunities. It is most welcoming to our visitors as well.”

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout will be closing all departments, except the Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, for a Professional Development Day.

This full-day closure will include the Municipal Office, Public Works, Hidden Lake Landfill, Fire Hall, and Recreation Centre (arena/gym/fitness rooms/etc). Fire services will remain on call to deal with emergencies.
