Sioux Lookout, ON – Capacity limits will be removed from all Municipal facilities in Sioux Lookout, effective tomorrow.

Sioux Lookout, ON – The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is implementing a new tracking system for pets to help reunite missing or found animals with their owners faster.

With owner consent, the information provided on this year’s pet Registration/Renewal Form will be entered in the new pet tracking system and uploaded to the Municipal website. Changes to COVID Restrictions at Recreation Centre

Sioux Lookout, ON – Indoor capacity limits are set to be lifted across the province at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1st, but there will be exceptions at the Sioux Lookout Recreation Centre and Arena.

At the strong recommendation of the Northwestern Health Unit, capacity limits for spectator areas of the Recreation Centre and Arena, including the Fitness Centre, will remain at 50 percent. However, proof of vaccination will no longer be required.

More COVID Restrictions Lifting for Recreation Centre

Sioux Lookout, ON – Public health measures continue to lift across Ontario, which means greater access to the Sioux Lookout Recreation Centre and Arena.

Starting Thursday, February 17th, at 12:01 a.m., capacity limits for non-spectator areas of the Recreation Centre and Arena, including the Fitness Centre, will be removed. Proof of vaccination will still be required.
