Vision: 2035 Postcard Campaign

Sioux Lookout, ON – The Municipality of Sioux Lookout invites residents to share their ideas for the future of the community. Vision: 2035 is a unique postcard campaign, asking residents to think about what they want Sioux Lookout to look like in 2035, and ways they see the Municipality growing into an even more successful, vibrant, and thriving community.

This campaign is part of the strategic plan public outreach process. It’s a creative exercise which offers a way for schools, community groups, organizations, businesses, and residents to contribute to Sioux Lookout’s next strategic plan.

Vision: 2035 postcards will be available from the Municipal Office customer service desk, Public Works Department, and Recreation Centre front desk starting Monday, February 3rd. They are designed to spark the imagination of all residents, from students to seniors, so they can share their hopes and dreams for Sioux Lookout in the next decade.

Taking part is as simple as picking up a Vision: 2035 postcard. It asks you to complete the statement, “Imagine our community is thriving in 2035. Describe what you see, using words or pictures!” Add your vision for Sioux Lookout in ten years time to the back and drop it off at the Municipal Office.

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is working to ensure that all voices are heard in Sioux Lookout’s long-term planning and development. Your feedback will be used to guide the creation of Sioux Lookout’s strategic plan for 2026-2031 and help shape a community that reflects the vision of its residents.
